| Advent is named after St. Alhawyn or Adwena,
but is always referred to as Advent. (It was probably consecrated on
Advent Sunday, hence the name). It has also, in the past, been called St
Adwen and St Tathen
There is no village of Advent, the Church is just to the North East of the hamlet of Tresinney. which is situated on the North Western edge of Bodmin Moor. If you are searching for maps of Advent also try Tresinney.
