Dave has spent most of his life living in Bristol. He moved into Totterdown in 1957 and with only a short break he lived in the same Street until 1997. From his present home he can still see, the old house that he had lived in for most of his life.
At school Dave never had much interest in his history lessons, caring little about the Kings and Queens of England, but he was passionate about the history he saw around him.
